We successfully organised an Interactive Session on “Professional Ethics and Contempt of Court Law” for B.A. LL.B. students. The session highlighted advocates’ professional responsibilities, courtroom etiquette, ethical practices, and legal provisions relating to contempt of court, providing students with valuable practical insights into the legal profession.
Sarhad Law School, Pune, organised a Tree Plantation Activity under the National Service Scheme (NSS) to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment. NSS volunteers actively participated in planting saplings and spreading awareness about the importance of trees, biodiversity, and environmental conservation. The activity encouraged students to develop a sense of social responsibility and contribute to sustainable development through collective efforts.
We successfully organised a guest lecture on “Law of Contract” for B.A. LL.B. students on Monday, 26th October 2026, at 11:00 a.m., delivered by Adv. Dhanashree Bagal. The session focused on the fundamental principles of contract law, the essential elements of a valid contract, and their practical application in the legal profession. The lecture provided students with valuable insights into contractual obligations and legal practice, enhancing their understanding of the subject through practical perspectives.
Sarhad Law School NSS volunteers attended a two-day workshop titled “महात्मा जोतिराव फुले आणि आजची तरुणाई” (Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Today’s Youth), organised at Savitribai Phule Pune University on 24th and 25th October 2026. The workshop aimed to encourage young minds to understand the thoughts, social reforms, and progressive ideals of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and their relevance in contemporary society. The participation provided NSS volunteers with an opportunity to reflect on social equality, education, and their role in building an inclusive and progressive society.
We organised a guest lecture on “Public Administration and Public Policy” for B.A. LL.B. students. The session focused on the principles of public administration, policy formulation and implementation, and the role of public institutions in governance. It helped students understand the relationship between administration, public policy, and the effective delivery of public services, enhancing their awareness of governance and its importance in society.
We organised a guest lecture on “Law of Crimes” for B.A. LL.B. students on 22nd October 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The session was delivered by Mr. Manojkumar Mahavir Wanare, Assistant Professor at A.B.M.S. Parishad’s Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Pune. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding of criminal law, its fundamental principles, and the practical application of legal provisions. The session provided valuable academic insights and helped students connect theoretical knowledge with the practical aspects of criminal justice.
We organized a guest lecture on “Economic Development in India: Issues and Challenges” on 21 October 2026 for B.A. LL.B. students, delivered by Prof. Baisane Parabatrao Bhimrao. The session provided valuable insights into India’s economic development, key economic challenges, and the importance of sustainable and inclusive growth. The lecture enriched students’ knowledge and encouraged them to understand contemporary economic issues.
We organised an engaging guest lecture by Advocate Shivam Potdar Sir, exploring the history and evolution of the Indian Constitution in a simple and insightful manner. With enthusiastic student participation and an encouraging response, the session highlighted an important message: Don’t just read the Constitution—live its values. 📚
We organised an informative guest lecture on “Notice Drafting” under the subject Legal Language and Legal Reasoning, delivered by Advocate Sagar Gholve Sir. The session provided valuable insights into the fundamentals, legal significance, and practical application of notice drafting. We sincerely thank him for sharing his knowledge and practical experience with our students.
We celebrated Vachan Prerna Divas on the birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Sir with great enthusiasm. Students shared inspiring thoughts about his life, vision, and achievements. The programme concluded with a pledge to cultivate a regular reading habit and embrace lifelong learning. “A book is a gift you can open again and again.” 📖
We organised an educational visit to Yerawada Central Jail to provide students with practical insights into the criminal justice system, prison administration, prisoners’ rights, and rehabilitation. The visit enhanced students’ understanding of criminal law and the practical functioning of correctional institutions.
The Legal Aid Clinic of Sarhad Law School, Pune, organised a visit to the National Lok Adalat to provide students with practical exposure to ADR, conciliation, and dispute resolution.
Sarhad Law School, Pune was honoured to attend the celebration of Shri Sanjay Nahar Sir’s 61st birthday, the release of सरहद चा सांगाती, and 30 glorious years of Sarhad Sanstha’s social service. The occasion beautifully honoured his inspiring dedication to humanity, education, national integration, and service to society.
On 15th August, Sarhad Law School visited Niwara Old Age Home and spent a meaningful time with the elderly. The visit highlighted the values of kindness, compassion, respect, equality, and social responsibility.
An expert session on “Important Aspects of the Legal Profession” was delivered by retired Judge Onkar Patil Sir. Students of Classes 11th and 12th, along with B.A. LL.B. students, gained valuable insights into legal ethics, professional responsibilities, and career opportunities through his practical guidance.
We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Dindi on 24 July 2026 with great enthusiasm, devotion, and cultural spirit. The programme was organized to celebrate the rich Warkari tradition of Maharashtra and to instill values of unity, social responsibility, devotion, and constitutional awareness among students and staff.
We organised an informative and highly interactive lecture on the Right to Information Act, 2005, to create awareness among students about the importance of transparency, accountability and access to information in a democratic society.
We organised a guest lecture on “Research Methodology and Publication” on 14 July 2026. The session was organised as an academic and skill-development initiative to introduce students to the fundamentals of research, particularly legal and social research, and to help them understand how a research idea can be developed into a structured and publishable research paper.
We organized an informative guest lecture on “How to Study Case Laws” on 13 July 2026, conducted by Adv. Sagar Gholve. The session provided students with practical guidance on reading, analysing, interpreting, and presenting judicial decisions. It focused on understanding judgment structure, legal principles, judicial reasoning, and the effective use of precedents in academic and professional practice.
On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Sarhad Public School & Junior College and Sarhad Law School jointly organized the “Pre-Shauryathon Run” on 4 July 2026. With the theme “Remembrance to Responsibility,” the event honoured the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, teachers, staff, and citizens.
Social Equality Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm from 8th April to 15th April 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and to promote constitutional values and social justice.
Women’s Day at Sarhad Law School was celebrated in a truly unique and heart-touching manner. The event was a beautiful surprise planned by male staff and students to express their respect, gratitude, and appreciation towards the women faculty members and girl students.
The guest lecture under Nirbhay Kanya Yojana, held on 23rd February 2026, was a great success. It empowered participants with essential life skills and highlighted the importance of confidence, awareness, and mental resilience.
On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, 26th January 2026, a meaningful and heartwarming visit was organized to Navratna Old Age Home. This initiative was undertaken as a unique way to celebrate the spirit of the nation by spreading joy, compassion, and human connection.
Sarhad Law School successfully organized the Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji State-Level Inter-Law Collegiate Debate Competition, bringing together talented law students from colleges across the state.
Our college students and staff enthusiastically visited the Pune Book Festival 2025, celebrating the joy of reading and lifelong learning.
In an era dominated by digital distractions, the Shantata! Punekar Vachat Ahet programme emphasized the importance of traditional reading and encouraged students to dedicate time to books. The initiative highlighted how reading strengthens knowledge, improves concentration, and contributes to intellectual and personality development.
The Induction Programme for First Year students (2025–26) was organized to welcome students and familiarize them with the institution’s vision, academic structure, facilities, rules, and opportunities for overall development.
A debate competition on “Social Discrimination” was conducted between F.Y. and S.Y. B.A. LL.B. students. The discussion focused on whether social discrimination still exists in modern society. F.Y. students argued that education, awareness, constitutional values, and legal rights have significantly reduced discrimination.
The grand inauguration ceremony of the ‘Vijay Dhar Amphitheatre’ was successfully organized on 24th September 2025 by Sarhad at its campus in Pune. The event marked a significant milestone in the institution’s continuous efforts to promote education, culture, and social awareness.
Independence Day is celebrated on 15th August to remember India's freedom from British rule. The celebration includes flag hoisting, the National Anthem, patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural programs. It helps students develop love for the country, respect for freedom fighters, and a sense of responsibility as citizens.
In compliance with the UGC Regulations, the College observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August to raise awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus through various awareness activities.
A Police Station Visit to Bharti Police Station has been organized as part of its practical learning initiative to provide students with first-hand exposure to the criminal justice system.
The Gratitude Circle is a reflective group activity that encourages participants to appreciate the positive people, experiences, and lessons that have shaped their lives.
On 22nd July 2025, Second Year students participated in “Guess the Sound – Where From?”, a blindfolded activity designed to develop listening skills, concentration, mindfulness, and focus on life goals.
The International Yoga Day & Tree Plantation program is organized to promote holistic well-being, environmental awareness, and social responsibility among students.
We organised Annual Sports Day on 9th and 10th March 2025 to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, leadership, confidence, and sportsmanship among students.
