On 15th August, Sarhad Law School visited Niwara Old Age Home and spent a meaningful time with the elderly. The visit highlighted the values of kindness, compassion, respect, equality, and social responsibility.
An expert session on “Important Aspects of the Legal Profession” was delivered by retired Judge Onkar Patil Sir. Students of Classes 11th and 12th, along with B.A. LL.B. students, gained valuable insights into legal ethics, professional responsibilities, and career opportunities through his practical guidance.
We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Dindi on 24 July 2026 with great enthusiasm, devotion, and cultural spirit. The programme was organized to celebrate the rich Warkari tradition of Maharashtra and to instill values of unity, social responsibility, devotion, and constitutional awareness among students and staff.
We organised an informative and highly interactive lecture on the Right to Information Act, 2005, to create awareness among students about the importance of transparency, accountability and access to information in a democratic society.
We organised a guest lecture on “Research Methodology and Publication” on 14 July 2026. The session was organised as an academic and skill-development initiative to introduce students to the fundamentals of research, particularly legal and social research, and to help them understand how a research idea can be developed into a structured and publishable research paper.
We organized an informative guest lecture on “How to Study Case Laws” on 13 July 2026, conducted by Adv. Sagar Gholve. The session provided students with practical guidance on reading, analysing, interpreting, and presenting judicial decisions. It focused on understanding judgment structure, legal principles, judicial reasoning, and the effective use of precedents in academic and professional practice.
On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Sarhad Public School & Junior College and Sarhad Law School jointly organized the “Pre-Shauryathon Run” on 4 July 2026. With the theme “Remembrance to Responsibility,” the event honoured the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, teachers, staff, and citizens.
Social Equality Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm from 8th April to 15th April 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and to promote constitutional values and social justice.
Women’s Day at Sarhad Law School was celebrated in a truly unique and heart-touching manner. The event was a beautiful surprise planned by male staff and students to express their respect, gratitude, and appreciation towards the women faculty members and girl students.
The guest lecture under Nirbhay Kanya Yojana, held on 23rd February 2026, was a great success. It empowered participants with essential life skills and highlighted the importance of confidence, awareness, and mental resilience.
On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, 26th January 2026, a meaningful and heartwarming visit was organized to Navratna Old Age Home. This initiative was undertaken as a unique way to celebrate the spirit of the nation by spreading joy, compassion, and human connection.
Sarhad Law School successfully organized the Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji State-Level Inter-Law Collegiate Debate Competition, bringing together talented law students from colleges across the state.
Our college students and staff enthusiastically visited the Pune Book Festival 2025, celebrating the joy of reading and lifelong learning.
In an era dominated by digital distractions, the Shantata! Punekar Vachat Ahet programme emphasized the importance of traditional reading and encouraged students to dedicate time to books. The initiative highlighted how reading strengthens knowledge, improves concentration, and contributes to intellectual and personality development.
The Induction Programme for the newly admitted First Year students of Academic Year 2025–26 was organized to warmly welcome students and help them transition smoothly into college life. The programme introduced students to the institution's vision, mission, academic structure, campus facilities, rules and regulations, and the various opportunities available for their overall development.
The grand inauguration ceremony of the ‘Vijay Dhar Amphitheatre’ was successfully organized on 24th September 2025 by Sarhad at its campus in Pune. The event marked a significant milestone in the institution’s continuous efforts to promote education, culture, and social awareness.
Independence Day is celebrated on 15th August to remember India's freedom from British rule. The celebration includes flag hoisting, the National Anthem, patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural programs. It helps students develop love for the country, respect for freedom fighters, and a sense of responsibility as citizens.
In compliance with the UGC Regulations, the College observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August to raise awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus through various awareness activities.
A Police Station Visit to Bharti Police Station has been organized as part of its practical learning initiative to provide students with first-hand exposure to the criminal justice system.
